The LanScaper from JDSU is a jack identifier, cable tester, length measurement device and Ping Tester in one unit.

  1. Detects and reports speed and capabilities for active Ethernet and other devices up to 100Mb/s
  2. Ping function verifies connectivity to network devices
  3. Blinks link indicator to identify cable termination on active ports
  4. Identifies hubs, NICS or auto MDI/MDI-X devices
  5. Tests cabling configuration
  6. Displays length measurement for each pair in feet or meters
  7. Generates selectable tones on selected pins for use with tone tracers.
  8. Supplied with 8 remote identifiers
