ZOOM II Series test kits are ideal for the fibre optic professional requiring quick and simple optical power and loss measurements. All ZOOM II Series test kits come with a ZOOM II optical power meter and a multimode and/or singlemode light source.
Accessoies include: hard-shell carrying case, protective rubber boots, carrying straps, 9 volt batteries, NIST-traceable certificate of calibration and a CD-ROM containing product manuals.
Two light source options are available:
Dual OWL - contains stabilized dual-wavelength LED source (850/1300nm) for accurate testing of multimode fibres.
Laser OWL - contains stabilized dual-wavelength laser source (1310/1550nm) for accurate testing of singlemode fibres.

Fibre OWL BOLT Series Auto-Wavelength test kits offer the ultimate in user-friendliness. Not only do they perform optical link length tests, but when used with the WaveSource fibre optic light source in automatic mode, the meter and light source use auto-wavelength switching technology that coordinates wavelengths automatically, without the need for further user intervention. This feature increases productivity by reducing testing time and human error. The WaveSource range of light sources include the least expensive quad-wavelength fibre optic light source on the market, integrating all four popular wavelengths into one unit (850/1300nm for multimode and 1310/1550nm for singlemode).
Included with each kit are a NIST traceable fibre OWL optical power meter, one or more fibre optic light sources, hard shell carrying case, protective rubber boots, carrying straps, 9 volt batteries, certificate of NIST traceability and a CD-ROM with OWL Reporter software and operation manual.

The WaveSeries Auto-Test fibre optic test kits offer benefits not found in many test kits in their class, including automatic wavelength switching and data point storage, saving valuable testing time. Single-port dual-wavelength sources remove the need for seperate reference cables, and allow some versions to have an optional VFL installed. The quad-wavelength test kit gives 850,1300, 1310 and 1550nm all in one source.

OWL PRECISION COUPLED VISUAL FAULT LOCATOR OWL PRECISION COUPLED VISUAL FAULT LOCATOR

The Precision Coupled Visual Fault Locator (PCVFL) is a lightweight, hand-held tool used to quickly troubleshoot faults in the continuity of both singlemode and multimode fibres, especially at fibre launch points and in the OTDR dead zones. Additionally the PCVFL can be used as an end-to-end visual fibre identifier, which is useful for locating fibres terminated in poorly labelled or unlabelled fibre patch panels.
